One of Cadence’s particular strengths is key opinion leader (KOL) identification, management, and research. KOLs are physicians who are experts in their field and who are intricately involved in nearly all aspects of treatment and care. As such, they are often sought after for their critical thinking and guidance on innovation.  However, engaging with KOLs can be expensive, with hourly rates climbing to $1,000 or more. Despite the cost, many companies seek their guidance to stay on top of emerging trends and to ensure they are making informed decisions.

To address the high cost of KOL research, Cadence is launching a new series of syndicated KOL reports. These reports will be disease-specific and based on in-depth interviews with top physicians from the U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific. The participants will be chosen from top academic institutions, well-published and experienced with late-stage clinical trials, often guideline committee members, and widely recognized for their disease-related expertise. The reports will cover treatment regimens, satisfaction with current treatments, unmet needs, and the likelihood of market disruption over the next three years.

The first report in the series will be on Prostate Cancer and is set to be published in March 2023, followed by reports on Non–Small-Cell Lung Cancer, Breast Cancer, and Multiple Myeloma in the subsequent months. These reports will provide valuable insights into disease management, treatment options, and emerging trends, with the goal of helping clients make informed decisions and ultimately improving patient lives. Other reports on Gastroenterology, Neurology, and Cardiology are also under consideration
