August 10, 2022 – Westlake Village, CA

Cadence Communications & Research (CCR) is pleased to be recognized as an outstanding company in its corporate ethics and was rated overall in 59th percentile. A fairly impressive feat for a modest company with a 100% remote workforce competing against Fortune 500 behemoths like Lucent, Nestle, and Verizon.

The international Ecovadis platform rates a network of 90,000 companies on sustainability performance and corporate responsibility (CSR) in four categories: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
CCR obtained the bronze medal in the CSR ranking.

The Bronze rating, given to companies that are outperforming the majority of others that are rated by Ecovadis, is based on a culture fosters an environment of respect for both individuals and the environment.

“We are pleased to receive Bronze sustainability rating from EcoVadis,” said Laura Smith, Principal and Co-founder of Cadence. “The award reflects our culture and values. I’m particularly pleased that our corporate ethics were so highly rated.”

Smith went on to say, “When you have a small company it’s hard to make a big impact on the environment. We emphasize doing the right thing for our staff and for our clients. That can mean something as simple as printing two-sided documents or something big like recommending our clients host a conference online to decrease the amount of travel and lower their corporation’s carbon footprint.”
